The Life of Dorothy L Nicholson
Dorothy L. (Klink) Nicholson, age 82, a longtime resident of Kirtland, passed away January 19, 2017. She was born September 12, 1934 in Dunbar, Pa, daughter of the late Alfred and Dolly (Martin) Klink. Survived by her sons Kenneth Jr. "Jake" of Kirtland, David of Atwater, Terry (Jean) of Leroy, Timothy (Kathy) of Eastlake and Ronald (Kim) of Lynchburg, Va; daughters Kimberly Tyler of Eastlake and Deborah (Walt) Fillar of Mentor; grandchildren Darla (Doug) Duane, Ervin Bittinger, Dominick Barricklow, Rebecca (Steve) Klima, Doug Auxier, Megan (Andrew) Hovance, Duke Tyler, Bryan, Timmy Jr., Juli, Ricky, Keirsten, Nicole and Nash Nicholson; 16 great grandchildren; brother Alfred Jr and sisters Gladys and Lydia. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth; son Allen Dale; daughter Dorothy Jean; grandson Joseph; brothers Bill and Thomas and sister Blanche. She retired after 35 years as a head cook for The Kirtlander Party Center, formerly Imperial Catering. She enjoyed country music, gardening and baking for others to enjoy. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah''s Witnesses in Willoughby. A chapel service will be held 11 am Monday January 30, 2017 at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, 11521 Chillicothe Rd, Chesterland, OH 44026.
