Joyce Johannesen, 88, passed away at home on Saturday, December 10, 2016. She was born October 22, 1928 to Harlan and Minerva Walker.
She is survived by her children, G.R., Dennis (Donna), Toni (Brian) and Daniel (Janet); 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton; and daughter-in-law, Shari.
The family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, 2016 with the Rosary recited at 6:30 p.m. at Hamilton’s Southtown Funeral Home, 5400 SW 9th Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 15 Indianola Avenue. Burial will occur at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
