The Life of Michael R. Bobrowsky

Michael R. Bobrowsky, age 74 of Seymour, entered into peaceful rest on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Born in Derby on July 20, 1942, he was a son of the late Anatol and Mary (Hudak) Bobrowsky. Mr. Bobrowsky was a teacher from grammar through middle school in the Ansonia school system. An avid accordion player, he had a love for music especially polka. Survivors include his beloved sister, Mae Zwolinski and her husband John of Seymour; one adored niece and nephew, Christina Zwolinski and her fiancé Brian Crawford, and John R. Zwolinski and his wife Shannon, all of Seymour; as well as two cherished grand nephews, Justin and Evan, and his beloved canine companion, Daisy. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the 10th Floor Yale New Haven Hospital ICU. Funeral services will begin on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 9 a.m. in Ralph Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church St. Seymour, and a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Seymour. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Calling hours will take place on Sunday November 20, 2016, from 3 – 6 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes relatives and friends to live a healthy/meaningful life and to always be kind and helpful to others
