The Life of DORIS JEAN BOHROFEN
Doris Jean Bohrofen, 79, passed away November 18, 2016. Services will be held at Hamilton’s on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines with visitation on Sunday, November, 20 from 3 to 5 p.m. and the memorial service on Monday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines, IA.
Doris was born March 2, 1937 in Des Moines, IA to Arthur and Wilma McKee. She graduated from Tech High School in 1955 and worked for the City of Des Moines until her retirement 23 years ago. Doris loved gardening and Prairie Meadows, and in her younger days, participating in 5k’s. She was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Debi (Chris) Cline of Waukee, IA and her granddaughter, Hailey Cline. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Gloria Nichols.
