The Life of Mary St.Jean

Mary Bryan St. Jean age 75, wife of the late Reno St. Jean and lifelong resident of Ansonia, passed away Oct. 28. She was born in Derby, daughter of the late Raymond & Ruth Wood Bryan. She graduated from Ansonia H.S. class of 1958 and worked as a nurse’s aid for Shelton Lakes Nursing home and United Methodist Nursing Home and was a parishioner of The First United Methodist Church in Ansonia. She is survived by 3 daughters, Denise St. Jean & Linda Bonavia, both of Ansonia and Janet Federico of New York, as well as her grandsons Daniel St. Jean of Derby and Jessie & John Bonavia, sister Loretta Miller and several nieces, nephews & cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her daughter Maureen St. Jean and sisters Vivian Tillotson & Leona Packard. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to her family. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been entrusted with arrangements.
