The Life of Sandra Bennett

SANDRA E. (WINKLEMAN) BENNETT YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Sandra E. (Winkleman) Bennett, 70, who died unexpectedly Thursday at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Sandra was born Feb. 25, 1946, in Phillipi, W.Va., the daughter of Dwanles A. and Mary E. (Carpenter) Bennett. She worked as a baker for Richards Bakery for many years. Sandra often assisted at the Austintown Gardening Club in her spare time.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Dennis) Smith of Salem and Tammy (Mike) Rogenski of New Middletown; two sisters, Wanda O. Hughes of Liberty and Mary (Everett) Schall of Austintown; two brothers, Dwanles “Sonny” Bennett of Austintown and Harold (Cheryl) Bennett of Girard; her companion, Frankie; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; daughters Rita Dianne Ashford Starkey and Rose Mary Winkelman; and two grandchildren, Jamie Ashford and Jessica Rogenski. Family and friends may call Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens in Canfield
