The Life of Edward Robinson

Edward P. Robinson, age 85, husband of the late Dorothy Robinson and resident of Derby, entered into eternal rest October 29. He was born September 25, 1931 in Derby, son of the late Harry & Helen Robillard Robinson. A Veteran of the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, he worked as a civil engineer for Avco Lycoming Inc. Edward was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Derby and enjoyed coaching Pop Warner football. He is survived by his loving children and their spouses, Deborah Domurad of Derby, Karen Verrastro of Naugatuck, David Robinson of Bedford, NH, Kevin Robinson of Canaan, ME, & Thomas Robinson of Seymour. He also leaves his brother William Robinson of Ansonia, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his son Gary Robinson, his brother Harry Robinson & his sister Jean Dalaker. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 3 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Derby. Burial with military honors rendered will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
