Charles Anthony Mazer Charles Anthony Mazer, 77, of Newmanstown, died January 30, 2021 at Hershey Medical Center. He was the widower of Judith Lynn (Owens) Mazer who died November 26, 2001. Born, August 4, 1943, in Arnold, Westmoreland County, he was a son of the late Louis Myron Mazer and Genevieve (Sunday) Mazer. Charles was a graduate of Arnold High School. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Charles was employed as a correctional officer with Allegheny County Jail for 27 years, retiring in 2003. His hobbies included fishing and hunting, and he was a member of Millcreek Township Gun Club, Newmanstown. A beloved father and grandfather, he loved spending time with his family. Surviving is his daughter, Kelly L., wife of Brian A. Remper of Newmanstown; his two grandchildren, Brian Charles Remper and Brikel J. Remper; and his brother, Louie Mazer of South Carolina. He will also be sadly missed by his companion of 20 years, Estelle Todaro. Charles was preceded in death by two brother, Ted Mazer and Myron Mazer.
