Betty Maxine Patrick, 87, of Olathe, KS passed away September 15, 2016 at The Gables Assisted Living of Overland Park. Visitation 12 noon Monday, September 19, 2016 at Bruce Funeral Home, 106 S. Center, Gardner, KS 66030 913-856-7111. Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Monday, September 19, 2016 also at the funeral home. Burial follows at Olathe Memorial Cemetery, Olathe, KS. Betty was born January 2, 1929 in Stilwell, KS to Thomas Aria and Rosie Jane (Linder) Dougan. She grew up in Olathe. Betty married James Lee Patrick on March 26, 1948 in Olathe, KS. She worked at Mission Bakery and Olathe Bakery. Betty enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband James; daughter, Linda Kay Patrick Morrison; son, James Lee Patrick, Jr.; three brothers and four sisters. She is survived by her son, Kenneth J. Patrick of Fairway, KS; daughter, Karen R. Patrick Chamberlin of Spring Hill, KS; four grandchildren: Michael Morrison, Joshua Chamberlin, Kelly Wright and Cristen Nalker and eleven great grandchildren.
