The Life of PAMELA SUE DICKEY
Pamela Dickey, 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, September 4, 2016 after a long courageous battle with COPD.
Services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., with funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Pamela was born January 13, 1951 in Des Moines, Iowa to Robert and Mary Dickey. She graduated from East High School in 1969. Pamela loved the simple things in life, she was an outgoing, thoughtful person who always put others first and enjoyed spoiling other people’s kids. She volunteered her time at the Food Bank for a number of years. Pamela had a passion for traveling and was an avid sports fan.
Pamela is survived by her husband of 17 years, Terry Lynch; siblings, Bobby (Kathy) Dickey, Mike Dickey, and Peggie Dickey; niece, Beth (Andre); and her dog, Maggie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Dickey.
