The Life of Cornelius Sam
Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 at 11:00AM at St. Paul Catholic Church in Lafayette for Cornelius Sam, 82, who passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be held at Lafayette Memorial Park following the funeral.
The Life of Cornelius “Bull” Sam
Bull started his journey in Lafayette LA., with his wife and 3 children, working for Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Home Building and Loan as a brick layer in construction work and Lafayette Consolidated Government in Parks and Recreation. Bull always had a great smile. He was a very good friend.
Cornelius leaves to mourn yet cherish his memories his children; Charlotte Sam of Houston TX, son; Dwight David Sam of Phoenix, AZ., granddaughter; Keshia Sam of Houston TX., and great granddaughter; Alicia Sam and of Houston TX., wife; Mary Juanita Sam of Houston TX., stepchildren; Bernard Sam (Ethel) of El Paso TX., Charonda Sam, Jerome Williams, and Torrance Sam of Houston TX., his brothers; Murphy Joseph Sam (Juanita) and Joseph Sidney Sam (Rose Mary), nieces; Gwendolyn Sam, Tina Sam, Karen Sam, Jennifer Sam, Vilencia Sam, and Jonetta Sam, nephews; Craig Sam, Murphy Sam Jr., and Marjari Sam and a host relative and friends. Cornelius is preceded in death by his parents; Milton (Melo) Sam and Ceclia Sam, brothers; Milton Sam Jr. Alton James Sam and Larry Paul Sam and stepdaughter; Monica Sam.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2016 from 7:00AM to 10:30AM at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette. Kinchen Funeral Home Inc., 1011 North Saint Antoine Street, Lafayette LA 70501 is in charge of arrangements.
