The Life of Danisha Lyne Jett

Danisha Lyne Jett of Brooklyn, New York, formerly of Ansonia, CT died peacefully August 4, 2016 at Brookdale Hospital and Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York with her family by her side. She was the mother of Keniesha Jett of Brooklyn, New York and grandmother of Joziah Christopher Jett­Delaney. She leaves a devoted friend Caffre (Leo) Barrett, Brooklyn, New York and her maternal grandmother Flore Jett of Ansonia, Ct. She was educated in the Ansonia School System. Danisha was a live in Special Needs Assistant for many years. Danisha was born in Derby, Ct. August 31, 1971. She was the daughter of the late Moncella Jett and father Leroy Wallace. She leaves to mourn brother, Daniel Jett Derby, Ct, sisters Carlena Lee, New Haven, Ct, Carletta Lee, Charlotte, NC, Kimbery Smith, Laurens, SC, Sharon Wallace, Florence, SC, Maryann Tedder, Darlington, SC, and Tania Wallace, Seymour, Ct. Her Godmother Carolyn Gardner, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Danisha loved being with family and friends and having a wonderful time. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 am. before the service begins
