The Life of JERRY LEE WILLIAMSON
Jerry L. Williamson, 62, died Friday, April 10, 2009 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Iles Funeral Home-Westover Chapel. Burial will follow.
Jerry was born in Des Moines and has lived in Urbandale for over thirty years. He had been the owner and operator of Broadway Body Shop. Jerry enjoyed the outdoors, stock car racing, working on his cars and maintaining his property.
Survivors include his spouse of 25 years, Carla J. Van Cleve; his step children: Jeff (Rhonda) Van Cleve of Des Moines, Jon (Jennifer) Van Cleve of Chicago, IL, Vicki Van Cleve of Urbandale; grandchildren: Kelli, Roni Jo, Delaney, Alec, Hannah and Sam; great grandson, Caden; brothers: Lawrence Williamson of Florida, Sam (Marcia) Williamson of Oceanside, CA, Clark (Phyllis) Williamson of Des Moines; sister, Sally Williamson of Urbandale; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
