The Life of Marcel Chibuzi Mweze

Marcel Chibuzi Mweze, age 83 of Peabody, MA, beloved husband of the late Felicite Chibalonza Mweze died peacefully on May 7, 2016, at home surrounded by his family. Born in Kabare, Democratic Republic of Congo, he was the son of the late Felix and Veronica Ruhabahizi Mweze. Mr. Mweze immigrated to the United States from the Democratic Republic of Congo in 2006 and settled in the greater Boston area. He worked as a Pastor in the Christian Church, until the time of his retirement. He is survived by 21 children, 41 grandchildren, 24 greatgrandchildren, as well as a sister and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 9:15 AM in the Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, 167 Wakelee Avenue, Ansonia. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 15 Church Street, Ansonia. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
