The Life of Dale Anthony Calais
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at a 3:00 PM Service in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Dale Anthony "Boo" Calais, age 62, who died on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Entombment will be held in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Deacon Art Bakeler will officiate the services.
Survivors include one brother, Ronald "Ron" Calais.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy Charles and Agnes Duhon Calais; one brother, Larry Calais; his grandparents, Eugene and Elia Guidry Calais and Amelcar and Odile Legnon Duhon.
Dale Anthony Calais was a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. He was an avid reader, enjoyed watching educational programs on television, loved learning and loved eating. Mr. Calais never held a grudge, never got angry and was very easy-going, always getting along with everyone. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Pallbearers will be Howard Duhon, Ronnie Morgan, Ed Bonin, Carl Janice, Darrell Doiron, Mike Dartez and Ron Calais.
The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille''s DOWNTOWN location on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of services.
