The Life of Betty Straight
Mrs. Straight passed away April 4, 2016 at the Eliza Jennings Home in Cleveland.
Born July 26, 1919 in Chagrin Falls, she had lived in Eastlake for more than 65 years.
She was a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elk Willoughby-Cleveland Lodge #18.
Betty was a baker with the Willoughby-Eastlake School System. She retired in 1982 after 27 years of service.
Survivors include her twin daughters, Donna M. (John) Medgyesy of Easley, SC and Lana M. Loar of Lakewood; grandsons, Matthew (Kimberly) Medgyesy and Andrew (April) Medgyesy and great-grandchildren, Owen, Audrey Lynn, Makenna, Hayden, and Grayson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1984. Her parents, Henry and Lannie Waite; sister, Alpha Metelko and brothers, Henry Waite and Ford Gutman are also deceased.
