The Life of Diane Gabianelli

Diane M. Gabianelli, 54, peacefully entered into eternal rest on March 28, 2016, at Griffin Hospital. Diane was born in Derby on July 19, 1961, beloved daughter of Reno L. Gabianelli of Ansonia and the late Elizabeth Juliano Gabianelli. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, she was employed as a senior analyst at The Nielsen Company in Shelton for nineteen years. Previously, she worked at the former Evening Sentinel Newspaper and Great Country Bank. She was the former secretary for the Ansonia Republican Town Committee. Diane was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia and enjoyed music and cooking and loved planning events for her friends and family. In addition to her father, she is survived by a loving sister, Carol A. Gabianelli of Ansonia, uncles, Alfred Gabianelli (Carol) of FL and Robert Gabianelli of West Haven and several cousins and friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday April 1, 2016, from 4-7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Saturday, her funeral will take place at 7:45 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
