Carolyn Louise (Bulman) Kampas, 72, passed away peacefully Monday, February 29, 2016 while under the care of hospice after a courageous battle with cancer.
Services will be held at Grace Church, 4200 East 25th Street, Des Moines. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 7th and funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 8th. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Carolyn was born April 30, 1943 in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Opal (Knight) Bulman. She is survived by her husband, Paul; son, Donnie (Jean) Strait; grandchildren, Caroline, Valerie, Anthony, Jamie, and Ashli; six great-grandchildren; and sisters, Deloris, Doris, and Darlene. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Strait; and brothers, Donald and Roy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Paralyzed Veterans of America or American Cancer Society in loving memory of Carolyn.
