The Life of DOROTHY MAE MCCULLOUGH
Dorothy Mae McCullough, 93, was born June 2, 1922 in Roland, Iowa, the daughter of Isador and Emma Halverson. She passed away peacefully Monday, January 11, 2016 at Genesis Senior Living Center.
Dorothy loved gardening and sitting on her porch enjoying the outside. She had a knack for sewing, finding treasures at garage sales and flea markets and enjoyed taking car rides. One of Dorothy’s most cherished possessions was her toolbox, and her family knew it was “hands off” when it came to her toolbox! Above all else, Dorothy treasured time spent with her family.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Larry (Vicki) McCullough, Victor (Elaine) McCullough, Jim (Donna) McCullough and Annette (Dan) Lippert; her grandchildren, Rich (Tina), Mike (Molly), Tammy, Tracy, Larry and Keri Ann; other loving relatives and many special friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold McCullough; sisters, Edna and Helen; brother, Max and her grandson, Todd.
Graveside services will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Genesis Senior Living Center in loving memory of Dorothy.
