JULIUS DANIEL WALKER

Julius Daniel Walker was born on November 26, 1826, in Tioga county, Penn., and died in Olathe. Kansas, on January 24, 1908; age 8I years, 11 months and 28 days. In 1835 he moved with a colony to Peoria county, Ills. In the spring of 1869 he moved to Johnson county, Kansas, and for the last 20 years he has lived in the city of Olathe. He was married to Susan E. Green on February 1st, 1849. This union was blest with five children, four boys and one girl. The wife and mother departed this life December 29, 1874. One boy and the daughter died some time since. Three of the sons survive the father and with a goodly number of relatives and friends mourn his loss. Funeral services were held from the home of his son, Will, Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. N. A. Shedd. Interment in Olathe cemetery.
