Died at her home in Olathe, on Sunday, May 29th, 1892, at 4 o'clock p. m., Mrs. Samanthe E. Ripley, aged 39 years, 5 months and 20 days.

 

Though a great sufferer for quite a while, the deceased bore her affliction with Christian fortitude and seldom was heard to complain though it must have been a severe trial to face the inevitable, leaving a beloved husband and family in the prime of life.

 

The funeral services were held at the Congregational church at 4 o'clock p. m. on Monday, May 30th, and were ably and appropriately conducted by Rev. A. W. Bishop, the pastor, after which the body was laid to rest in Olathe cemetery on this beautiful Decoration Day.
