Died, at his home near Bethel church Sunday at 9:30 a. m., H. L. Paris, aged 49. Funeral was held from Bethel church at 10 o'clock a. m., Tuesday, January 31; interment in Olathe cemetery. The deceased was an old resident of Johnson county, having lived here for the past twenty-four years. An operation was performed Sunday, January 22, for appendicitis and it was thought be was on the road to recovery. Last Saturday gangrene set in and death came Sunday morning at 9:30. The wife and five children, four girls and one boy survive, and have the sympathy of a large circle of friends.
