Obituary.
(Born in Johnson county, Kansas, on February 18, 1891, and died Saturday, March 27, 1897, at his home, little Archie Stinson, son of A. O. and Laura Stinson. )
Archie was the pet and sunshine of his home and a favorite with his teacher and playmates. He was one of the brightest and most promising. Bravely and serenely he met his death and bore tbe pangs of that most dreaded disease, "cancer." The past six months the little darling has suffered with that awful disease and yet he never murmured or complained, but at one time said "Mama, I want to go and live with Jesus;" with this unprecedented patience, it seems as if something miraculous had tranquillized his pangs, for we know that most malignant and relentless disease is incessantly doing its insidious work.
The funeral services were at the residence conducted by Rev. Goddard of the M. E. church on Sunday morning, after which the remains were conveyed to the Olathe cemetery for burial. A large number of friends accompanied them. The grief stricken parents and relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of the community. A Friend.
