Death of Franc O''Roark.

The death of Miss Franc O''Roark occurred Wednesday morning, shortly after midnight, in her apartments at 2117 Independence Ave, Kansas City, Mo. The body was brought to Olathe Wednesday afternoon, to the home of her sister, Mrs. M. F. Moll, where the funeral will be held, although the date had not been set at the time of going to press. 

Miss O''Roark had taught school in the Longfellow building, Kansas City, for a number of years and before that bad taught in the grades at Olathe which had been her home, since leaving the farm north of Olathe, some years ago. The obituary will appear appear next week.

Funeral of Miss Franc O''Roark.

The funeral service of Miss Franc O''Roark, whose death occurred in her apartments, 2117 Independence avenue, Kansas City, . Mo., was held from the home of her sister, . Mrs. M. F. Moll, in Olathe, Sunday afternoon, at 3 o''clock, conducted by Rev, J Willard De Yoe, pastor of the First Methodist church. ''

Her sisters attending the funeral were: Mrs. Chas. White, Ellensburg, Wash., Mrs. M. F. Moll, Mrs. Dick Varnes, Mrs. Wm. Plummer,  Mrs. Mary Chrisman. 

From Kansas City there were professor Pearson, superintendent of the schools in which she was a teacher a number of years, Mrs. Pearson, a dozen or more of her fellow teachers, and more than a score of friends and relatives.

About 60 cars of relatives and friends followed. the body to the Olathe cemetery. .Miss O''Rpark gave the best years of her  life to the profession of teaching -  the lessons she taught were not alone in books--but right living. Her work with children will be a living monument.
