Goudy, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. Bishop, formerly pastor of the Olathe church. The remains arrived at 10:30 o'clock over the Frisco and were taken direct to the church, the family going to the home of M. V. B. Parker on west Park street.

The floral offering of friends of the deceased were beautiful. The pall bearers were L. W. Snepp, Frank Hodges, Dr. Williamson, Fred Pickering, Chas. Ott and Willis Keefer.

The following was taken from the Ft. Scott Monitor of Wednesday:  With sorrow unspeakable the many intimate friends and acquaintances of Mrs. Henry L. Page of No. 4 Eddy street, learned of her death which occurred this morning at 2 o'clock. For the past six weeks Mrs. Page has been lying in a precarious condition and her anxious husband and parents have been watching over her bedside hoping and believing that signs of new life would appear, but their vigilance was not rewarded and despite the efforts of the skilled physicians who attended her, Mrs. Page continued to sink, and this morning at the hour mentioned above she passed from among the living.

This death mantles the entire community in sadness. Probably a more beloved lady did not reside in Fort Scott than the deceased, where she was so popularly known. The deceased has been a resident of this city ever since her marriage twelve years ago. She was a charming and estimable woman of a strong character and mind. To those who saw the deceased in the vigor of helath and womanhood only a little while ago it was hard to believe that she had ceased to live. The Page home waa visited by a throng of sympathizing friends today as soon as the news of the death of Mrs. Page was learned.

Loulu St. John Page was born in Olathe thirty-eight years ago. She was the only daughter of Ex-Governor John P. St. John, well known in this city. Her parents were with her at the time of her death. A short funeral service will be held tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home. Rev. Dr. Lenig of the M. E. church will officiate. Friday morning the remains will be taken to Olathe for interment.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. John P. St. John, Eldon, Mo.; Mrs. Warren Gillellen, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Humphries, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fagan, Ft. Scott: Mrs. Hearst, St. Louis; Mrs. R. W. Barger, Chicago; Dr. and Mrs. D. F. Parker, Independence, Mo.; Mrs. C. H.
