Mrs. Moll was born June 21, 1860, on the home farm, five miles north west of Olathe. She lived here and attended school at Twin Springs, and was married  to Wm. Moll, October 16, 1881, when the residence was made on the farm, five miles due west of Olathe. until moving into Olathe several years ago.

She had been a member of the Methodist church from childhood, was active in all church and Sunday school work, and was rarely ever found outside of her pew on Sunday morning. She was also a member of the W. R. C had filled most of its chairs and was very thorough in her work, as well as in the Western Star Rebekah lodge, of which she had been a member a number of years. It was characteristic of her to do thoroughly any work or duty assigned.

As a wife she was a true helpmeet and faithful, always; as a mother, no sacrifice was too great that her children  might enjoy the fruits of right teaching and right living; as a neighbor, she was congenial and the home was a favorite gathering place in that vicinity; as a Christian woman, she truly exemplified the teachings of the Master. She was kindly, gentle in her demeanor, a woman good and true. It will be a long while before Mrs. Moll is forgotten.
