Mrs. Jane Watson, widow of Samuel Watson, late a resident of Olathe township, south of Olathe, died in the insane asylum at Osawatomie on Saturday last. Her daughters living in Olathe had heard of her illness and two of them had gone to see her, but they did not arrive until two hours after her death. Her remains were brought to Olathe for interment, the funeral being held at the Presbyterian church where services were conducted by Rev. A. V. Stout.
