On Wednesday evening of last week Mrs. Emma Woodcock, who resides near Westport. Mo., returned from a spelling school and was taken with severe cramps, a complaint she had frequently been troubled with, and died by twelve o clock. Mrs. Woodcock was a lady of most excellent social qualities, affectionate to parents, husband and friends. She was a daughter of Mr. Fred HofF who resides three miles north of this city and at the time of her death was twenty-eight years of age. She was buried on Friday at the Olathe cemetery.
