Reuben Henry Spencer was the son of Henry Spencer of Ohio and Elizabeth Murphy. He was born May 22, 1846, in Cleveland, Ohio, and died September 15, 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the husband of Mary Frances Baucom. They had children -- George, Josey, Emma, Marcena M, Charles H, and twins Gertrude Mae and Albert. Most of the family stayed in Missouri.
