Oscar J. Reno died at the home of his brother, A. M. Reno, near Olathe, May 29. Oscar was born at Carlton, Illinois, June 27, 1869. He was a bright cheerful young man. He bore his afflictions patiently for a year or more during which time lie was ft great sufferer. He came to Kansas in January last in quest of health, but his father being taken down sick he returned to Illinois to care for him. After the death of his father April 20 he returned to  Kansas with his brother. His health rapidly failed until death  released him. He joined the M. E. church in 1893 and re mained a member until his death. He was buried at Olathe, funeral being by Rev. McBride.
