The Life of Thomas Reynolds Price

T. R. PRICE DEAD.

Thomas Reynolds Price, died at the home of his brother, J L Price, in this city yesterday (Wednesday) morning, at 10:20 o clock, at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 7 days, after a serious illness of over a year. He died quite suddenly of heart disease. The funeral will be held this afternoon at the home of his brother on North Walnut street, at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. N A. Shedd of the First Presbyterian church of officiating.

Mr. Price left Olathe one year ago last Tuesday for Texas, where he remained until May, when he returned to Olathe in very poor health. Mr. Price is the third of a family of nine children to pass awav. He was born in Warren county, North Carolina, May 3, 1844. He came to Kansas in 1884 and has lived with his brother ever since. 

He joined the confederate army in 1861 and served until the close of the war under Gen. Hill. During this service he received several very severe wounds. His death was not unexpected by those who were at all familiar with his condition during the past two months. He was a highly respected citizen and will be greatly missed, not only in the family circle but by a host of friends.
