The Life of Frances P Wells
Died: At at the home of her parents in Kansas City April 1st, 1893, Frankle P. Wells aged 16 years, 8 months and 4 days. The remains arrived at the Fort Scott depot at 10 30 a. m. April 3d, and were taken to the Methodist church, where the funeral services were held. The services were conducted by Rev. John McQuoid, pastor of the church. After the services at the church the remains were buried in the Olathe cemetery.
Oscar Bellar, John Weaver, Burt Hackett, George Castleberry, Rule Hubbard, and Bert Gilbert acted as pall bearers. The deceased was born and raised in Olathe, her parents remvoing to Kansas City only a few months. She was a bright girl and had ahost of friends in this city who mourn her sudden taking off in the springtime of life.
