DEATH OF MRS. B. F. SNYDER

Miss Nellie M. Howe was born in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, on the 21st day of December 1845. She came to Johnson county in 1873 and located in Olathe, and has resided in this county ever since. In October 1879 she was united in marriage to B.F. Snyder and a year later they moved to De Soto, where they resided until 1911, when they returned to Olathe and have since lived here.

The death of Mrs. Snyder occurred Saturday morning, December 7. The deceased united with the Methodist Episcopal church at De Soto in 1910 and remained a faithful member of this church until recently when her certificate of membership was transferred to the Olathe church. The funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church in this city Monday afternoon, December 9, at 2 o'clock and interment was in the Olathe cemetery. The funeral address was given by Rev. C. B. Zook, which was followed by the beautiful ritualistic service of the Order of the Eastern Star, of which Order the deceased had been a loyal member for many years.
