The Life of Lucretia Ann Wolfley

OVERCOME BY HEAT.  Mrs. Lewis Wolfley Died at Her Home Wednesday Morning

Sunday afternoon about 4 o''clock Mrs. Lewis Wolfley was seized with heat appoplexy and became unconscious. When Dr. Bronson arrived he found that her fever registered 108 degrees. Everything possible was done to save Mrs. Wolfley but on account her age and the extremely hot weathe, it was of no avail, and she dIed at 1:30 ‘oclock Wednesday morning without having regained consciousness.

Mrs. Wolfley was in her seyenty- fourth year and for about half of that time she had lived in Johnson county. She was born in Washington county, Pennsylvania and later moved to Ohio where she married Mr. Wolfley. Mr. Wolfley had, a stroke of paralysis about two and one half years ago and has never recovered from the effects of it, being obliged to spend all his time in a wheelchair. They celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary about five years ago. Mrs. Wolfley joined the Methodist church at the age of nineteen and has always lived a good Christian life

 In addition to her husband one daughter, Mrs. Joe Barral, survives her. The funeral will be held at 2 o''clock today at the Methodist church.
