Mrs. Anna Murphy, wife of Dennis Murphy of this city died on Saturday, the 24th, after a long and painfull illness. She had suffered for a number of years from a complication of diseases. She and her husband came to Olathe several years ago, and Mr. Murphy has been employed the major portion of the time by the Santa Fe railroad. The funeral took place Monday from the Baptist church, and was conducted by the Rev. Frazier. Mr. Murphy has the sympathy of many friends in his bereavement. There were no children.
