L. L.. Lane.
Announcement was made in this paper last week that Lou Lane was seriously ill at his home in Webb City, Mo., and that it was expected , that death would soon overtake him. On Wednesday evening, Nov. 26th, at 6 o'clock he died at the age of 41 years. The remains were brought to Olathe for interment and the funeral services were held from the M. E. church on Friday afternon at two o'clock. Rev. Mr. Zook officiating.
 
Lewellyn L. Lane was born on a farm west of Olathe, March 27th, 1870, where he lived with his parents until he was nine years old, when he moved with them to Western Kansas. He returned to Olathe , in 1895 which place he lived until a year ago. He went to Webb City, Mo., hoping the change would benefit him; he contracted a sickness which the change could not overcome and from which he had to give up his work. He joined the M. E. church of this place in 1896. He had hoped to be able to returm again. He also was a member of vhe Oid Fellows lodge of this place.
