Georgia Lee Layson (Bosley), 82, of Olathe, Kan. passed into life in the spirit on Tues. December 20, 2011 at Evergreen Nursing Home of Johnson County. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 a.m. Friday December 23, 2011 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home-Olathe with memorial services following. Private family service will be at Olathe Memorial Cemetery.

Georgia was born in Trenton, Missouri on February 18, 1929 to parents Vester and Louise Bosley (Ellis). Georgia later moved to Olathe with her parents and siblings. She married Charles Layson on August 21, 1948 and she had her first child, Donna JoAnne in February of 1950. Georgia had her second child, Donald Glenn in December of 1958. Georgia enjoyed reading, cooking, listening to country music and spending time with her family. Georgia spent time working at TG&Y and Olathe Donut and Pastry before retiring.

Georgia is survived by her loving husband ,Charles Leigh Layson; daughter, Donna Hedges (Layson); son, Donald Layson and daughter-in-law Connie Layson (Kimble); granddaughter, Tanya Mathieu (Hedges) and grandson-in-law, Rick Mathieu; adoring great-grandchildren, Ashton Mathieu, Aidan Mathieu, Avery Mathieu; siblings, Floyd Bosley, Sonna Dilley (Bosley) and Shirley Wheeler (Bosley) as well as many nieces, nephews , cousins and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her and forever in our hearts.
