The Life of Nancy G Middendorf

Nancy G. Middendorf went home to be with her Savior Thursday, February 14, after a prolonged and brave battle against cancer. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 920 Alta Lane, Olathe, KS 66061. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2008, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home. Burial will be at Olathe Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, Wayside Waifs, or American Cancer Society. Nancy was born April 25, 1951, in Sheridan, Wyoming. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1969 and attended the University of Wyoming. Nancy married Dave Middendorf June 6, 1980. Throughout their marriage, Nancy was a homemaker and raised two beautiful daughters. She was active in the church and loved landscaping and gardening. Nancy was known for her special brand of humor and sincere desire to help others. She is survived by her husband David; daughter Jessica and son-in-law Jeff; daughter Katie and future son-in-law Christopher; her father Richard Lenz, Sr. and his wife Ione; her mother Margery Bowman; brother Rick Lenz and sister- in-law Margaret; brother Tim Lenz and his sons Sam and Adam, and sister Deb St. Pierre and brother-in-law Dave.
