The Life of James Charles Lee

James C. "Jim" Lee, 68, of Olathe, Kan., passed away November 14, 2009. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, 105 E. Loula, Olathe, with burial following in Olathe Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Jim was born April 25, 1941, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Leland and Ila Lee. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was an honorary member of the Olathe Historical Society as well as an avid historical researcher and writer.

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Rosemary, children, stepchildren, eight grandchildren and one brother, John Lee.
