DEATH OF AN OLD CITIZEN.
We are sorry to record the decease of an aged citizen and Patron. Mr. Adam Look, one of the earliest settlers in this couty, having first located at Black Bob, where he was long and favorably known. He died in this city on Friday last after having suffered severely for about two weeks, from an acute disease which baffled the efforts of the most approved medical skill. A post mortem examination conducted by Drs. Woodward, Eggleston, Bickford,  Hamill, and Wilson, discovered the disorder to be cancer of the stomach; which, of course, could not he removed nor arrested in its progress by the best-directed medication. A fatal result was inevitable. Mr. Look was sixty-eight years of age.
