The Life of Andrew Egidius Moll

The saddest news the Mirror has been called upon to record is the death of Andrew Egidious Moll, son of A. E. Moll, who died at 1 o'clock last Friday morning. " Gid,."as he was known by everyone in Olathe and almost every body in Johnson county, was born in Olathe almost twenty-four years ago, and the whole of his brief life was lived in this ciiy, having been associated the past few years with his father in the livery and blacksmith business.
A noble, honest, energetic and enterprising young man and a skillful and careful workman he had built up a substantial and increasing business. His frank disposition and honest good nature had made him a general favorite with both young and old, and his untimely taking away was a shock to the whole community.
About a year ago he was united in marriage to Miss Deborah Nowling, and his married life was a most happy one. Funeral services were held at the Congregational church Sun day afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. D. R. Steiner, under the auspices of Harmony Lodge, No. 84, I. O. O. F., of which Mr. Moll was a member, and the overflowing church and numerous beautiful floral tributes were undeniable evidence of his popularity. After the services at the church the remains were conveyed to Olathe cemetery for interment. The stricken young wife and relatives have the deepest sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement and sorrow.
