Died, at the residence of his parents in Olathe, Saturday evening, Dec. 15th, ot membraneous croup. Charles Edward McKntire, aged 5 years, 3 months and 26 days. The funeral service were held at me family residence, Mondav, Dec. 17th, by Rev.H.P. Stephenson, the grief stricken parents have the heartlelt sympathy of many friends, but only those who have been similarly atllicted can realize the depths of woe caused the broken-hearted parents bv the loss of a child so bright and promising as was little Eddie. Words of sympathy become almost a hollow mockery when death snatches the flower of teh family.
