MATHEN K. KURIEN, age 94, passed away June 19, 2014 at home in Olathe, KS. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21 from 6:00-800pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 14275 S Blackbob, Olathe, followed by funeral services on Sunday, June 22 at 2:00pm, also at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 5:00pm on Sunday at the Olathe Memorial Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to VITAS Hospice Care, 6601 Winchester Ave, Kansas City, MO 64133. 
He is survived by his seven children and their spouses,fifteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aleyamma, in 2010.
