John A. Henderson Dead.
On Saturday, August 29, at the home of his daughter in Wellsville, John A. Henderson passed from life. While he had been ailing for several weeks his death was unexpected and was a great shock to the community. He was an "old soldier," one of the heroes of the war of the rebellion. He was fifty-eight years of age. Many friends will mourn his departure . The funeral was held from the United Presbyterian church, conducted by Revs. J. B. Work and A. V. Stout.
