Died at his home on East Loula street Thursday, June 2, at 1:40 p. m., James McCaughan, aged 73. The funeral services were conducted from the Reform Presbyterian church Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock, and were largely attended. The deceased was a resident of Johnson county for the past twelve years and had made many friends. Mr. McCaughan leaves a a wife and three grown children to mourn his loss. The children consist of-a daughter and two sons, one a practicing physician in Iowa and the other a pharmacist at Pittsburg,. Kansas. The cause of Mr. McCanghan's death was pneumonia.
