Mrs. Helena Lamasney

Helena Christena Adolphson was born in Sweden, April 9. 1857 and died in Chicago, Illinois, April 16, 1913, aged 56 years and 7 days. She came to America when about nine years of age. In 1877 she united in marriage with Mr. A. W. Littleton. One son, Fred B. Littleton, of Kansas City, Mo., was born of this union. In 1883 she married Daniel Lamasney, who died August 2, 1908, and was buried in the Olathe cemetery. She has one brother, Peter Adolphson, of Burlington, Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. John Landegren and Miss Jennie Adolphson, also of Burlington, Iowa. The brother and sisters were present at the funeral services.

The service was conducted at the home of Mr. James Lamasney, 315 West Park Avenue, Olathe, by Rev. Frank F. Fitch, of the Congregational church, assisted by singers Mrs. J. All. Evans, Mrs. L. W. Snepp and Mr. Morris Brockway, at 10:30 a. m., Friday, April 18, 1913. The floral offerings were exceptional in their beauty and varied design. The pall-bearers were Messrs. R. S. Landis. W. B. Ewing. G. F. Hemphill, G. C. Fleener, A. W. Graham and P. G. Davis. Five beautiful floral wreaths were carried by Messrs. L. P. Norton, Willis Sayles, J. H. Storrow and Amos Lord. All of these young men were of Kansas City, Mo., and members of the Sigma Omega Fraternity, of which Mr. Fred B. Littleton is also a member.

The following out of town relatives were present: Mr. John Lamasney, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Bannister, Miss Ida Bannister, Mr. Tom McGee, Mr. Francis McGee and Miss Catherine McGee. Personal friends of Mrs, Lamasney present were Mrs. Gilbert, Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Tissue, Miss Eva Potts. Mrs. Heckman, Mrs. Burgess, and Mr. James Cole, all of the above coming from Kansas City.
