MRS. HARRY ILES
Miss Anna Laura Gans was born March 14, 1862, at Lanesfield, Kans., and died at her home in Olathe Thursday, April 8, 1915 aged 53 years. She came to Johnson county with her parents when she was a small girl and Olathe has been her home from that time to her death. She was married to Harry lies in January 1883. To this union two children were born, Will lies of New York and Mrs. Wm. Sayther of St. Joseph, Mo., who together with her husband survive to mourn her death.
 
She united with the Christian church of Olathe in 1881 and has remained a faithful member of the same. Her death came as a great shock to her relatives and friends, coming suddenly from an attact of Asthma. Other relatives of Olathe are, Mrs. J. R. Brown, an aunt; and Mrs. 0. H. Tilford and Jim Brown, cousins. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Nance from the Christian church Friday afternoon, April 9th, 1915, and burial made in the Olathe cemetery.
