The Life of Rosalie Pearl Kelne

Rosalie Kelne Obituary

Rosalie Kelne, 68, of Olathe, Kan., was reunited with her beloved husband, Sam, of over 45 years, following a courageous battle with cancer, on January 19, 2007. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, January 22, at Olathe Memorial Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be made to Animal Haven. Rosalie was born October 29, 1938, in Kansas City, Mo., to Walter and Mary Miller. She loved life and her family more than anything and her absence leaves a hole in all of our hearts. The family is comforted that she is back together with Sam and her dogs again. Rosalie was a strong woman who fought her fight with cancer gracefully to the end. The family would like to personally thank the nurses and volunteers from Kansas City Hospice, her in-home nurse, LeeAnn, Dr. Belt and his entire staff, especially Dana, Kathy and Bev. Rosalie was preceded in dealt by her husband Sam, her parents, her sister Mary Dunbar, stepchildren, Marcia and Steven Kelne, and a special aunt, Annie Basconi. She is survived by her daughter Dianna (Charlie) Clark, of Olathe; her son, Allen (Susan) Kelne, of Lenexa; stepdaughter Norma (Robert) Tulper of Aurora, Colo.; her brothers and sisters, Keith (Debbie) Miller of Raymore, Marilyn (Jeff) Mann of Independence, Prudence Miller of Fairway, Margaret (John) Ruis of Kansas City, Kan., William (Susan) Miller of Liberty, and six grandchildren, Chelsey and Ashley Clark, Andrew, Meghan, Evan and Mathew Kelne.
