MRS LYMAN E. HANCOCK.
Mrs. Nellie P. Hancock, who has been living at Stanley for several years died last Sunday, September 28, at the German Hospital in Kansas City, where she went for an operation. Nellie Richardson was born in Freeman, Mo., in 1873. She was married to Lyman Hancock and two children were born to them. She lived for a few years in our city and was a lovable woman weil liked by ill. Her friends here were shocked to hear of her death. Her two children, Eugene and Nela, have been attending high school here and O. H. S. sent a large floral offering to show their sympathy to this boy and girl who are left motherless.
Besides the husband and two children the following relatives survive: Mrs. L. H. Richardson, her mother; Roy H. of Kansas City, and George ri. Richardson, of Mounds, Okla., brothers; Mrs. E. C. Hart, of Kansas City and Mrs. Speraw, of Alamoosa, Colorado, sisters. Funeral services were conducted from the Presbyterian church yesterday afternoon at 2:30, and burial was made in Olathe cemetery.
