Obituary.

Died at Eskridge, Waubonsie county. Kansas, on Tuesday, August 6th, 1889, Mr. D. B. Holton in the 67 year of his age. The remains arrived in Olathe by the A. T. & S. F. R. R., on Wednesday evening on the 6:28 train, and the funeral services were held at the grave in Olathe cemetery, at 7 o'clock p. m., conducted by Rev. R. P. Stephenson of the Baptist church. Mr. Holton had been afflicted for a long time with a complication of diseases and his death was not unexpected, though he was able to go from Olathe to Eskridge where his wife is residing with a son William last Saturday. The immediate cause of his demise sooner than expected was heart failure. A large number of the friends of the deceased attended the funeral.
